Significance of UPS and power battery matching group

1. Why should UPS and power battery be matching group? Since the UPS and power batteries are used in groups (multiple batteries are connected in series), and a single battery is affected by the thickness of the plate, the size of the inner cavity of the single cell of the battery box, the uniformity of pasting and the uniformity of curing, it is impossible to achieve completely same capacity, voltage and charging acceptance capacity of each battery, especially the charging acceptance capacity of the battery, There is no problem with the charging capacity of a single battery, but there are great problems in UPS and power battery. In order to increase the voltage of the battery, multiple batteries are connected in series (the chargers are all constant voltage). In the charging process, the individual is inconsistent, and the charging acceptance capacity of the battery is different. The battery with strong acceptance capacity will soon be full, and the battery with poor acceptance capacity will never be full, resulting in overcharge of the battery with strong acceptance capacity, The battery with poor acceptance capacity is not fully charged for a long time, resulting in the passivation of active substances, resulting a single battery lag behind, affecting the overall battery group capacity and shortening the service life. Therefore, UPS and power batteries need to be matching suitable group to reduce the above risks.

2. How to match the group? Firstly, the accuracy of the output voltage and current of the charging and discharging machine should be controlled within 0.01, and then the battery capacity (10.5V / battery) should be recorded during the deep discharge process. The group should be matched 48 hours after charging and discharging. In this process, the cooling water temperature and room temperature should be controlled to be consistent. Batteries that are not in the same batch and in the same day do not suitable to be matching group (inconsistent weight of plates, inconsistent number of plates, inconsistent thickness of AGM separator, etc.).
